Madsen was the face and voice of the Official Star Trek and Star Wars fan clubs and, as such, was a requested guest at many Star Trek and Sci-Fi conventions and has been interviewed for numerous documentaries on both of the popular sci-fi franchises. He is a known name within the fan communities for each of the fan club franchises he has been involved with.
