Michael has been involved in TV since 1995 when he wrote on an episode of Lois and Clark: The New Adventures of Super-Man. Since then, his filmography reads like the list of TV comedies and includes Tacoma FD, King of the Hill, Maron, Just Shoot Me, Out of Practice, Rules of Engagement, Wilfred, Beavis and Butthead, Glenn Martin DDS, Brickleberry and more.
During the 2023 Writers’ Guild of America strikes, Michael took to TikTok to engage with fans and has since amassed a dedicated fan base of over 400k on TikTok and over 100k on instagram. His videos talking about “what writers make in residuals” have gone viral repeatedly.
He also has a book, The Paper Orchestra, which is a book of short stories. He also recorded an audio book and has written a stage show based on it.
